Halloween: The Real Deal

After all that practicing and partying, Jayci was ready and prepared for her big halloween debut as Wonder Woman. She put on her costume eagerly, including her sparkly silver high tops, and set out for our friends' house for some chili, cornbread, mac and cheese, pumpkin pie, and lots of candy.
This is her kicking the soccer ball shortly after taking out my grape soda with that baseball bat in the bottom left of this picture. She is nothing if not feisty. Not that I would expect any less from Wonder Woman.
Even Wonder Woman needs to rest in the grass every once in a while.
Jayci LOVES Samaya, so she was totally over-the-moon that they were wearing coordinating costumes this year.
Please notice creeper Adam sneaking into the "all the kids" picture.
LOVE LOVE LOVE when I get a REAL smile :-)
Group shot with 50% of the kids looking -- it's the best one there was.
Jordan and Jay grabbed hands (melt me) and off they went to Trick-or-Treat. They totally had it down pat. Although it would have been wise of me NOT to make them go up to the house with the scary skeleton rattling his cage and loud thundering noises. Note to self: skip that house next year.
The boys act just like themselves, even when dressed in their costumes!
Love.
Zack and Sabo were entirely too old to trick-or-treat this year (clearly). They tagged along, and I gave them permission to "steal" some of Jayci's candy. But yikes, look how grown they are!
It was a really fun halloween all-in-all. But I can't wait to see what our night will be like next year in our new neighborhood!

  1. Oh my goodness, I love your little wonder woman!! Too cute!! Cape and all! Looks like ya'all had a great time :) We took the kids trick or treating last year and found out our neighborhood is actually really super creepy! hahaha! for reals, though, we don't live in the safest place. Our next door neighbors are all GREAT but the rest of the blocks are kind of like "enter at your own risk"! :) I just pray that we can be a light.

Okay, now that I've written you a book about who really cares what, I'll let you go read more important things! haha!
