Pets Only at I Heart Faces

I'm just going to go with ANIMALS and not necessarily "pets" this week. Because I tried to take some new pictures of Maverick to show y'all our sweet little puppers.
Unfortunately: 1-he refused to cooperate and 2-the cord to transfer pictures to my computer is lost in the depths of what I like to call "Holiday wrapping disaster 2009."

So instead, here's a picture of one of the horses from camp. Close enough to being my pet right? Well besides the fact that I cant remember his (her?) name, I don't take care of him/her, and I've never ridden, brushed her/him, etc . . .

The other entries at I Heart Faces this week are pretty cool - be sure to check them out!

  2. I like the way you focused on the eye with a shallower depth of field. Horses are such fun to photograph with that long face of theirs. Lovely!

  3. I love the background on the photo, too. Great work, Becca!

PS want to come wrap my presents once your disaster is over? :-o

  4. Hi Becca! Thanks for stopping by my blog. From your profile, it looks like we have A LOT in common. Jesus first and foremost, then Mexican food, and of course all this mommy stuff! Love it. Oh, and Atlanta. Lived there for almost four years and loved every minute.

    Merry Christmas!

  5. Well, I would have loved to see your creative touches for your Christmas decor on the tour, but at least you have a legit excuse for losing your cord with that wrapping disaster (it does always turn into a disaster!). I have yet to wrap my first Christmas gift this year - there is nothing under our poor tree ha!

  7. What a beautiful horse. You are so lucky to be able to be around such beautiful animals...and even more lucky you don't have to pay for it's food! Great shot.
